The claw bot we are raffling off is the older VEX technology. The clawbot can come as parts and can be assembled by the winner or the robotics class can completely build with the basic program uploaded into the cortex.
I have included the BOM (build of materials) and the general assembly instructions. This bot represents the VEX base bot and is often the build kit that is sent to new teams to get them started. The build can be completed by middle to high school students.
This raffle will be drawn at our annual robotics alliance banquet, which tentativley is scheduled for May 9th of 2019. More information on this event will be available on our site in the coming week. The proceeds from this raffle will primarily be used to support our youngest members of the First Lego League Junior team. They have been selected to attend the World Exposition in Detroit, MI in late April.
